Bab 141: Ran for their lives

A full day in an uninterrupted sandstorm made everyone in the group feel uneasy. They had finally entered the most dangerous area in the entire desert, heading towards the extreme east of the continent. It was a place where only the most experienced elders dared to venture, and even then, almost half of them did not return alive.

No search missions existed in that area; no one was foolish enough to risk so much. There were some routes known to all, created after thousands of years of attempts. But none were remotely safe, as they all made several long curves in an attempt to avoid some gigantic sandstorms that remained fixed throughout history.

Almin initially mentioned that he had studied some safe routes, but the whale didn't bother listening and led everyone in a straight line. So now, they were all inside a colossal storm.
