Bab 83: Chapter 83

After returning from their successful first date, Elvira and Wivior were back at the wizard's well bunker. They had just expressed their demands to Itar and had a lengthy argument.

Itar hadn't said a word for a while, and now it was getting scary. His reptilian eyes were swinging vertically from him to her like a pendulum.

"So, you two have decided that if I decline to do as you wish, there shall be no war with Agror?" Itar spoke at last in his usual tone.

"Yes," Wivior answered confidently.

"Yes," Elvira's voice was low, like a mumble. Maybe it wasn't even audible to Wivior standing right next to her. Elvira cleared her throat noisily. "I mean, yes," she spoke again.

"It's courageous of you to threaten and give orders to a deity like me. I will give you that." Itar mockingly clapped his hand close to their faces. "Maybe I'll do all that. Make crowns for the two of you from the wonders of the underworld. And call me a buffoon while I am at it."
