'Wait! We were in the car. Why would he settle me on his lap when Leo is driving?!'

Loreen opened her eyes and looked around. 

Leo was not in the car.

They were parked somewhere. And Edric seemed to be asleep too.

She gazed at his peaceful sleeping face. 

These past few days, it had become her habit to gaze at his sleeping face whenever she had the chance.

She was preparing herself emotionally for their farewell so she was taking the last chances she could see such various sides to him.

Edric had been a good husband to her no matter how she thought about it.

Sometimes she didn't understand either why she was still set on parting with him despite everything.

However, no matter how she pondered and meditated about it, she still came to the same decision.
