Bab 11: Black Steel!
" FAIRY TAIL HAS COME CALLING!"
The sudden arrival of the fairy tail guild sent the many members of Phantom Lord into a frenzy. Causing an all-out brawl to break out.
As always, Natsu was the first to act. With a fire in his belly and hands lit aflame Natsu released an explosive blast of fire that knocked out multiple members of Phantom.
" ALL RIGHT! WHO WANTS TO PLAY WITH FIRE?!" Natsu yelled to the tops of his lungs. His voice reverberating across the entire hall.
The members of Fairy Tail took to laying a beating on the Phantom Lord wizards.
Macao and Wakaba knocked a many out cold with their combo attacks.
Bisca and Alzack used their guns magic to snipe and shock their foes.
But none of them were as overpowering as the Master himself.
Makarov opened his eyes as members of Phantom lord rushed him and suddenly his entire body shifted.
Titan Form- That is the name of Makarov's magic.
And true to it, he became the size of a titan, crushing many foes underneath his massive hands.
" He's a- A monster."
" And you would dare to hurt this monster's children?! ARE YOU FOOLISH ENOUGH TO THINK HUMAN LAWS WILL PROTECT YOU FROM MY RAGE?!" Makarov exclaimed.
" This is insane. He's so powerful. And the members are incredible too!"
" I didn't know fairy tail was like this!"
They spoke. Only now, with the wrath of Fairy Tail upon them were the members of Phantom Lord beginning to understand their mistake.
Erza, Laki, and even Reedus took to crushing their foes. Not a single person would go unpunished.
" Let's get the cat!" One man shouted.
He lunged at Happy and learned firsthand what happens when you mess with Fairy Tail's resident flying cat.
" I'm a wizard too!" Happy exclaimed as he dodged the phantom lord members attacking him. He pulled out two large pieces of fish and started slapping people left and right. " You got a problem with that?" Happy asked. He stood over one of the phantom members with a watermelon over his head.
" Of course, not sir." The man muttered.
* Shing!
With a slash from her flame empress swords, Erza parted the Phantom Lord members.
" Tell me! Where can I find Gajeel and the element four?!" Erza demanded to know where the members of Phantoms S class were not knowing that one of them stood right above her.
" Heh, the legend herself, Titania Erza, the Queen of the Fairies." Gajeel muttered. " Hm, I don't see Laxus or Mystogan. Or the Heavenly Demon either. I guess they were too scared to come out to play. Or do they just not care?" Gajeel wondered. " Hmph! Either way it doesn't matter, Master Jose knew exactly how this was going to go down. Heh, they are pretty good fighters... For a bunch of scum bags."
Gajeel continued on watching as the fight below continued.
" HAAAAGH! Take this!" One of phantom's members had fired a large fire spell right at Laki. However, before it hit, Natsu jumped right in front of her with his mouth wide open and he ate the spell.
" OH YEAH, NOW I GOTTA FIRE IN MY BELLY!" Natsu declared.
" No way, he just ate fire!"
" You don't think he's one of those?!"
" I'M GONNA BLOW YOU AWAY! FIRE DRAGON ROAAAAAAAAAR!!!!!!!" Natsu released a powerful wave of fire blowing away the members of Phantom.
" ICE MAKE: LANCE!"
* SCHING!
Erza and Gray continued their assault.
" WOOD MAKE MAGIC: DISTANCE BETWEEN THE TWO IS FOREVER!" Laki summoned forth multiple vines of wood that knocked out those in front of her.
" What are you talking about lady?!" One of the phantom members asked upon hearing the weird name for Laki's spell.
" GUNS MAGIC: MUD SHOT!"
" REQUIP! MAGIC SHOTGUN; SPREAD SHOT!"
Alzack and Bisca were both riding the wave along with their companions.
" Hmph, you're not doing too bad for a snowman." Natsu said to Gray as he backed into him.
" I could say the same to you, ya pyro." Gray responded.
The feeling of winning was carrying the Fairy Tail members, despite the numbers disadvantage.
" Heh! Oh yeh! We got'em right where we want'em don't we?" Wakaba asked Macao as he, cana, Macao and Erza stood back-to-back.
" Heh, you know it." Macao told the man.
" Too bad Shira couldn't be here for this." Cana stated.
" Oh yeah, he woulda loved this." Wakaba said.
" Looks like we'll have to tell him about it when we get back." Macao exclaimed proudly.
Up above on the next floor, bodies were sent flying from Makarov's might.
" Erza! I'm leaving the rabble to you!" Makarov told the young woman.
" Yes sir!" Erza responded.
" Jose must be lurking on the top floor." Makarov muttered. " When I find him there will be hell to pay."
Erza watched as Makarov destroyed the door leading to the stairway to the upper level. ' Please be careful Master.' She thought to herself.
The Phantom Lord master was heralded as a member of the ten wizard saints, just like Makarov was.
When they came to blows it would surely be a devastating scene for everyone involved.
Makarov entered the stairway and began ascending to the top of the tower, leaving his guild behind to clean up the trash below. However, the moment he disappeared is when things took a change.
" Heheh! Looks like their little monster is finally out of the way." Gajeel muttered. " Now that he's gone, it's about time I throw myself into the mix! HAHAHAHAHA!"
Gajeel leaped headfirst from his perch high up in the rafters. He was ready to finally get in on the action and take on the members of the Fairy Tail Guild.
