The queen sighed in annoyance before addressing the both of them.

"Something like this should never happen again. I am to know every and anything that happens in this palace, is that understood?" she asked the both of them.

"Yes, your highness." Evena answered.

"Yes Aunt." Ava answered.

"Now, concerning this matter, Ava, have you told Ryder about this?" the queen asked.

"No, I haven't. I don't know he is going to react." Ava answered.

The queen gave her a strange look.

"How is he going to answer, he is your mate. He knows that you are half vampire, so why won't he be okay with this? Or is that you doubt his love for you?" she fired questions at Ava.

"Not at all Aunt. I know Ryder loves me and his love for me will never change. It's just that, I didn't tell him before drinking blood and coupled with the other secrets, I just felt strange telling him about this." Ava explained.
