He instantly realized a drastic development must have occurred, most likely the discovery of Young Master Min's whereabouts. Otherwise, the Da Li cavalry would absolutely not retreat so easily.

Upon coming to this conclusion, he ordered his men to defend the city while he personally led the Black Cloud Knights out of the city for a pursuit.
