The Metal Ancestor Dragon was making contact with metal objects that had been assimilated by itself.

Street lamps shining light on the streets, garbage cans that had become homes for stray cats, swaying manhole covers, the gently vibrating tracks as trains passed by, and the coins tucked inside the pockets of ordinary people such as travelers, residents, soldiers, and merchants.

All these metal objects opened up their perspectives to the Metal Ancestor Dragon, allowing it to observe, listen to, and feel everything around it from their own angles.

From the marketplace and Fountain Square at the city's center to the train platform located on the outskirts, to the taverns, horse barns, and workshops outside the city, the Metal Ancestor Dragon had its eyes everywhere.

The Metal Ancestor Dragon saw the myriad faces of mankind: whispers, moans, revelry, the crying of infants, the sighs of exhaustion, the melancholy of loss, and the smugness that came after careful calculations.
