Bab 28: CHAPTER 27

Alan Sawyer (POV)

“Just make sure that she gets everything that she needs. She should be happy and if I hear from her that she is upset about anything, you wouldn’t want to face my wrath!” I instructed the person I was talking to on the phone with a chill tone.

After doing that, I hung up the phone and a warm expression suddenly appeared on my face as my thoughts were filled with her.

“Do you think that she will be mad at me if I don’t see her this time?” I suddenly asked no one in particular as I stood by the floor-to-ceiling window that revealed the beautiful night view of Aston City.

“Young master, I believe that madam will indeed be mad and upset but if you sacrifice a little, she will soon forget about it,” another voice sounded in the room, making me turn around to look at the other.

I couldn’t help but smile faintly at the white man who was my subordinate, a man who was my right hand and one who knew most of my secrets.
