Bab 24: Hot and cold
They discovered the spot early in the morning, and Liss was bothered by the lingering chill that the rising sun couldn't dispel.
But as time passed, it warmed up, and the morning sun shone through the leaves, making it more comfortable for her. Even after an hour passed, Feng Huang still had Liss on top of his thighs.
They were so comfortable with each other that it was strange to think that they fought repeatedly. As the waterfall cascaded before them, Liss sat with both legs facing it, leaning in close with her chin resting on his shoulder. Liss's upper body was draped over his, and she embraced him lazily with her arms wrapped around the space between his waist and arms.
To Feng Huang, it was so cute how she relaxed her whole body on top of his. He enjoyed the feeling of the pressure of her body weight and the touch of her languid posture.
While Feng Huang carefully untangled the strands of Liss's hair, Liss was stacking the peebles into a tower. She piled them, just to see them fall again and again.
"Little one"
Feng Huang called after a long silence, trying to catch her attention.
"Hm?"
The alien lazily mumbled, not moving a muscle.
"How come your hair is so long?"
"Whatever do you mean?"
"It's unusually long."
"Is that so? Your hair is longer, though."
"But I'm male"
"Why would that matter?"
"It's unusual."
"For girls to have long hair?"
"Girls?"
"Oh, I meant females."
After working through all of her hair, Feng Huang ran his fingers through her locks, inspecting for any remaining knots before speaking again.
"Females avoid growing their hair, it's bothersome for them to take care of it."
"Can't their mates help? Levi used to wash my hair for me."
"Right. You poor thing, don't know anything of our customs."
Bothered by how Feng Huang phrased it, the alien straightened her back distancing her body from his, and saw his calm expression.
"Do you really have to bring that up every time?"
Liss's complained, showing her displeasure by knitting her eyebrows together and crossing her arms.
"You're supposed to teach me not to rub the fact that I'm ignorant on my face."
While complaining, Liss started to get angry because of Feng Huang's expressions. Despite her clear upset, an amused grin appeared on his face.
But it didn't matter to Feng Huang. In his mind, Liss was a powerless, innocent female who was completely helpless without him, and so her feelings were dismissed as a tantrum; they weren't considered equal.
"I apologize then."
Feng Huang said with a chuckle, he left Liss no time to start complaining again as he held her bottom and stood up.
"Hey!" Liss complained, grabbing a handful of Feng Huang's hair as a protest but it only made him laugh again.
"Liss dearest, behave or you will fall."
He taunted, not even trying to hide his sarcasm and contentment as he carried Liss to the waterfall.
"I will only fall if you let me."
"That is true, so behave."
"Unbelievable."
Liss was too distracted by their bickering to notice where they were heading, yanking his hair as a protest. Without warning, Feng Huang positioned Liss under the waterfall, startling the alien as the ice-cold water soaked her back. Resembling a cat falling into the water, Liss reflexively struggled, climbing on Feng Huang and kicking her feet.
Feng Huang's reflexes kicked in instantly when Liss trashed in his arms, almost falling over his shoulder. He firmly got ahold of each of her thighs, spreading her legs and pulling her body down. By reflex, Liss locked her legs over his waist and clung to his neck, squeezing their bodies together.
"Holy fuck"
When Liss quit being hysterical, Feng Huang noticed the danger of the situation. Her body that was trembling kept squirming against his, like a temptress, Liss's hips rolled against Feng Huang's while pitifully whining in his ear.
Knowing that these lascivious movements were done innocently stimulated him even further. It was too sweet to resist, so he didn't. Taking advantage of Liss's lack of attention, his hands shamelessly crept from her thighs to her plump behind, stealthily groping her asscheeks.
