Selena’s POV

What does it look like when the King takes the Queen on a tour of the palace? In the course of my date with Charles, I think I already knew something about it. He is the king, and I am the one he dotes on.

Shopping with him is like a big review of jewelry, bags, clothes and shoes. Whenever my gaze lingered on an item for more than three seconds, Charles would call sales and carefully pull out a piece of jewelry or a piece of clothing and present it to me.

*In the Chanel store*

In front of me, five of the latest bags of the season were displayed in a neat row, from the mini to the large size. Two salesmen, dressed in suits and white gloves, stood deferentially behind the row of bags, waiting to serve us.

"Which ones do you like?" Charles asked. His expression relaxed as he sank onto the sofa and drank the expensive sparkling water Chanel had provided.
