Chapter 32
Selena’s POV
What would Charles and my father be talking about in the study? I looked in the direction of the study on the second floor, where it was quiet and no one came out.
A maid made me a cup of coffee, and I sat on a bench near the French window in the living room, basking in the sun and enjoying the relaxation at home. Now that I was alone in the living room. I didn't have to think about Charles, or the Black Valley pack, or anything else that bothered me. I just had to be the daughter of the Red Moon Pack.
With the sound of footsteps, Ryan Green arrived, without Stella.
I suddenly got a little antsy. I rarely spend time alone with adult men, and he is my brother-in-law.
"Good morning, Selena," Ryan greeted me amiably, his smile perfect as if he'd practiced it.
"Good morning," I said, putting down my coffee.
Ryan walked up to me slowly. "I'm so sorry about last night... can I talk to you?" He asked politely.
