Bab 142: 142 Emergency Evacuation

Harrison's POV

As if to prove the authenticity of the report to Peter, the moment his words fell, a sudden and intense explosion echoed from outside. Even in the underground basement, we could feel a significant shock.

Dust rained down from the ceiling, creating a swirling cloud of smoke.

I immediately covered my nose and mouth with my clothing, while an enraged Peter grabbed the collar of the man who had delivered the message, demanding, "What the hell is happening outside?!"

"The patrolling warriors found the bodies of several sentries at the perimeter of the estate! Their bodies were still warm, so we realized someone had broken in. The team leader immediately called me in to report to you... just now, it's possible that they started attacking us!"

"Damn it!"

Peter abruptly released the man, frustratedly pacing in circles before issuing orders.

"Take that woman with us. We're leaving this place!"

"Yes!"
