I've been growing stronger with each level up throughout this month and currently can open a month's spin, but one problem arose about the wheel. The Achievement [Spin Wheel] disappeared, which has me thinking that the system will level me eventually or it will weaken as I grow stronger meaning there's a 13% chance it'll stay as it is, 57% it will disappear, 13% that it'll only be the status and skills, 13% that the status, skills and storage, and 4% that only the [Spin Wheel] from overuse or limit.
However, there is a 0% chance of me losing my powers as that is something ingrained into my bodily structure unless this power is meant to be passed on.
I'm currently swinging through the city toward the orphanage, Melissa has informed me about Ellie wanting to see me.
Landing in front of the new orphanage which looked similar to the church they had before.
Knock. Knock.
The door opened to show an old nun,
"Hello, Mother." I spoke.
"Ah! Spider-Man, how are you?" She asked while holding my hands and touching her forehead with them, I never asked or cared enough to ask why she did this with me but it was nice.
"I'm alright Mother, how are you and the rest?"
"Oh, we are fine. This new church is much more comfortable and thank you for helping in its construction." She responded,
"Mother, like I said I just wanted to help no need for thanks." She smiled sweetly at me.
"Come, come. The kids and Ellie miss you, oh! And Kyle, Jamie, and Lucy have been adopted." Mother spoke taking me inside.
"Oh? By who if you don't mind me asking?"
"You remember the Thompsons?"
"Oh, the Mitch and Tommy?"
"Yeah, they both wanted so they adopted them because Kyle and Jamie the twins are 2, and Lucy is 5 so they hope that she will be a good older sister and she looks like Mitch's late Mother."
"Those are some good reasons, maybe I'll visit in a few days." I commented,
"No need!" Spoke to a voice from behind us.
Because of of my perk [Spider-Eyes] I saw Mitch behind me coming out of the bathroom, but I decided not to mention him since it would be uncomfortable for others to know I could see 360, and Mitch was holding Kyle meaning if I scared him than he would have a 34% chance of dropping him due to earlier calculations taken from our last 3 meetings.
"Mitch, how are you and Tommy?" I spoke and turned.
"We are good, we were just about to take the three home." He responded,
"That's good, look after them. They are good kids."
"We will." Mitch laughed.
Walking into the playground area I see all the kids talking to Tommy and saying tearful goodbyes to Lucy. When we entered Mother yelled out,
"Kids! We have a guest." When the kids turned they suddenly yelled,
"Spider-Man!"
They all jumped and hugged me.
After an hour of playing, I left the orphanage and started swinging. The wind blowing against my face was always so exhilarating, maybe I'll have to take Michael and Meli on a swing.
<Narrator pov>
As Spider-Man swang through the city, he helped a few foreigners around the city and helped a cat out of a tree for a little girl. Even though these don't give anything from the system it still satisfied him.
[Ding! Skills Prediction and Parkour have become Prediction+1 and Parkoour+1.]
He smiled at this as now he could predict his actions, others, and things 4x more efficiently, and his parkour experience was worth 10 years. This development was amazing to him, but what he found annoying was that he couldn't increase his stats by himself he had to use the system.
He was so focused on his system that only at the last minute did he feel his Spider-Sense start alerting him, and as a natural reaction he activated camouflage and zipped away from the danger.
And almost instantly a boulder twice his size obliterated the top of a building, then Spider-Man webbed the boulder to the building to prevent it from falling.
Landing on the ground he looked around until he saw a huge person in grey.
"Hello, Spiider. I ask for a toy to play with, and you seem like a perfect punching bag." The man spoke in a heavy Russian accent, he was a 7ft guy, with white skin, and brown eyes, and wore a Rhino suit that seemed both very heavy from its armor but also flexible.
"Umm, hi?" He spoke before this Rhino started sprinting at him, Spider-Man just jumped over him and webbed his shoulders to flip him over himself. But instead of a flying Rhino, a long grunt of struggle came from Spider-Man.
Rhino attempted to turn and grab the webs but miscalculated how fast he turned, as the speed just chucked Spider-Man making him like a rock skipping across the lake into a barber shop.
"AHH!" Civilians screamed,
"D-don't worry." Spoke Spider-Man trying to regain composure, because even though it was a simple throw the said throw made him fly into the ground and barber shop with the speed of a race car.
Stammering outside, Spider-Man barely reacted to a fist to his face and that moment activated two skills, [Bullet-Time] to gain posture and [Fast Punch] multiple times at 60% strength to gain the upper hand.
BAM! BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM!
Spider-Man even though didn't use full strength used full speed and boxing technique which allowed him to not only stagger but bruise the left cheek of the Rhino. But Rhino recovered too fast and pulled his head down to do a headbutt, only to hit the air before feeling a shine smack the daylights out of his left cheek.
Spider-Man aimed for the bruise because he believed if he attacked the same weak point enough this Rhino would start to slow down.
And after a few minutes of exchanging blows, mostly Spider-Man dodging while Rhino tanked the blows. Eventually, Spider-Man heard from the distance.
"The civilians are clear!" This voice was none other than Anderson, they agreed a long while ago that if Spider-Man was to face someone dangerous like the Rhino, he would stall for time so that the police could evacuate the civilians so then Spider-Man could go ham.
So when Rhino threw a left hook Spider-Man ducked then dropped-kicked the Rhino with full force launching Spider-Man 10 meters and Rhino 2 meters. Then before Rhino charged at Spider-Man, Spider-Man webbed his left foot then zipped at him doing another drop-kick but this time he lept into the air to shoot a web into the eyes.
But Rhino put his hand in front preventing the blinding attack but when he moved it he saw no Spider-Man until he was suddenly bicycle-kicked from under his chin by an invisible Spider-Man, so now Spider-Man kept up the unpredictable attacks until his 2-minute timer finished but before that can happen he activated his [Bullet-Time] skill when he became visible to launch to a full power right hook with [Fast Punch] on it making his punch 602,700 lbs of force.
BANG!
Almost like a bomb blew up against the Rhino's face, the Rhino flew and hit the ground a few times. After a moment of silence, Spider-Man started hearing cheers around him but he was focused on the Rhino because his [Prediction+1] was telling him that the Rhino didn't take as much damage as he thought and that even with a short moment of "increased speed" of [Bullet-Time] Rhino seemed to have been able to pull his head back as the punch hit him making it so that a quarter of the force was canceled, now 452,025 lbs of force may seem like much but from comics told him that this man was able to resist explosions equivalent to 1 ton of TNT and the impact of small anti-tank weaponry.
Plus his [Analyze+1] skill told him that Rhino was breathing in a way to calm down and recover stamina and/or help the process of adrenaline to the body as even though Spider-Man didn't do that much damage, he did enough damage to make it painful.
However, when Rhino was able to hit Spider-Man it was painful to the point he believed that his rib could be broken. He summoned 1 of the 10 painkillers he had in his system and digested it, he didn't know why they were called useless but one thing is for sure these "useless" painkillers were going to help him last in this battle as they will help ignore the pain.
Now the battle would be about who could dish out enough damage till the other breaks as with Rhino's high defense and now adrenaline, compared to Spider-Man's ability to shrug off any damage dishing out 1000 lbs or 450kgs which would not help at all with Rhino's strength but he hopes that the painkillers and his adrenaline and adaption from skills and there versatility would help win this.
