Really good story and good execution. I love all the author novels. The MC is anti-hero and not really a good "person" which is awesome, I hate goody two shoes Mc's.And yet its not edgy.
first of all I would say this is a great book, I have a habit of just skip the character development in term of power and training as it seem boring to me but this book however is just great The only this that I would found a bit bad about this novel is that the death of some character feel a bit distant and not that much of impact to me (left arm and knife) as it just happen in the same chapter with a very short moment to be honest...i just realize she die after i read comment and read again(left arm nor knife) I do think it does not do as good as in sword god, one moment would be queen primodial she don't have anything to say and there is almost no dialogue but is so unexpecting and in that moment is just silence which make it kind of depress.(to be honest I did not know she that much and I just like her) so it kinda impact me more. i don't really like when peple say he don't have character development because it not as much show and transparent it still there and good one at that, he start from guilt to hero complex then realise that this world is just a farm and then, he IS a real hero to freed humanity no matter what it also show a sign of reset and i really look forward to his response and action toward the future human generation and one thing a Flawed character is not a bad written character people don't like nick as he hypocrite but if we look from another perspective just how many people had he help? millions if not more tbh and in the future he will free HUMANITY so his action is kinda justify. (I never write a long review before so the grammar and structure might be bad tho)

Another edgy and idiotic main characte. Author writes the most interesting worlds and ruins it by making the most idiotic characters inhabit them.
It's the best! The protagonist is really a complex character. At first, he had a naive view of the world and just wanted to be happy, but over time and events, his character changed radically to become the most complex main character I've ever read in his life.His view of the world, his thinking, everything! And let me not talk about the world, its structure, and the events, because I will really spend the whole day praising the writer.
If only the main character had been different, this novel would have been a super hit. Even without that, it remains one of the best novels, featuring characters with unique abilities, solid world-building, and more.
Average writing and world design is overshadowed by the absolute garbage characters and story progression. The main character wallows in self pity and even if you disregard that, the author just builds up characters just to kill them for the dumbest reasons possible. The whole story is just a work on hypocrisy and stupidity, and it took me 300 chapters of wasted time to realize that. Good riddance.
it's good, really good. But just a warning the author really gets you falling into rhythm and you think, "huh, it's getting kinda stale" until literally everything changes, this happens often. Somehow happier than the previous novels I am expecting that to change rapidly in the final arc.
Another great book by Warmaisach. The mc is still unlikable with hypocritical view on life but he has improved so much since the start ,that you can barely recognise him. From an illiterate, ignorant orphan to a pillar of the humanity. Also an unlikable mc doesn't make a book bad cause its only your subjective opinion, hell I find Fang Yuan insufferable but that doesn't mean the book is not peak
fun to read, I will change my 5 stars for character design if aliens wont turn out to be rats. Rats in this story best characters, cuz suicide companion rat, smuggler rat, funny rat birthing machine, rat person runing the city. Rats have rizz. Give this author some chez

God this is my top 1 novel of all time at start it was dark but now the mc is reasonably op and storyline is best so far Lets see what will happen next and i lije technician character he is secon protoganist type and left arm is just so saxy its enough for me
I need moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooore chapters . But nice job author the quality is perfect keep it that was especially the story s current progression.
Its certainly a controversial novel because of a certain scene but i think it deserves far more than a 4.58. I think if it had more of a fleshed out side cast it would have a higher rating. The side characters don't tend to stick around for long, as opposed to oher novels with side characters that can be considered "leads." I often find the monsters in the story to be more compelling than some of the human characters. Nevertheless, the S tier worldbuilding more than makes up for it.
Truly beautiful. The plot just thickens. Amazing work this is one of the best novels I have ever read especially the story development beautiful.
I've read LitOW and SDiaWM, but this one really shows how the author has improved with the time. Character development is really good, and the characters feel realistic. World building is superb! But, I have to say this: This novel is made for adults, and Tragedy is one of the main gengers that the Author likes to play with.

Wonderfull read. The character development is insane and the world building is systematic and beautiful. After chapter 350 or something the novel seamed dead and depressing, but it only got better. Question: why doesn’t nick bring the shields to nightmare’s body? It is producing a lot of zephix without any requirements. Nick can lead them there since he’s not affected, and when you get relatively close, nightmare doesn’t have an influence on you. The shields could benefit tremendously since they only have the false prophet. If the champion is the problem he could probably still sneak out the technician or the knife.

I am pretty early on and am really loving the story so far. The background and lore of the world are super unique and interesting. Imo it’s kinda over the top edgy at times but that’s just a personal preference, I would definitely recommend to a older audience 👍
honestly the premise of the book is great. the world building and the post apocalyptic atmosphere is really unique. but it's as if the author can't do anything but make the mc depressed. his goal feels like it was thrown together and most of the time seems mire like an excuse for mc to do whatever he wants, especially for his own survival. mc is crying over accidentally killing the kid early on, and misplaces the blame to the system, then does nothing to change it and even kills thousands accidentally. then he whines about how it was everyone else's fault then proceeds to spend the next hundred chapters doing worse stuff for a stupid reason because he feels guilty. overall it feels as if the mc's written in a way that all his morals have no purpose. apart from that it's a great story
I have a theory. I have a theory that a reset will happen, but that Nick will survive. He alone will survive, and humanity will reset again. But this time without the Sun with some twisted version of Nick replacing it. 🫡
