Bab 148: CHAPTER 148
John and Bill got all their paper work that they needed and left the house and headed to the court House to submit their adoption application.
On arriving they parked their car and walked in, walking up to the reception area where they were greeted with a smile " Good Morning how may I help you this morning?" John and Bill smiled Back "We are here to apply to adopt a pair of adorable Twins from the Orphanage"
She Nodded "Alright I will see if we have an available Judge for you this Morning" She went to her computer and started to look through it. While she was doing that That Mayor and the Fire Chief walked in as they had seen the Pick up truck in the Car Park.
" Good Morning Gentlemen" John and Bill turned around " Good Morning Sirs how are you this morning" They both smiled, the Fire Chief Answered " We are good thank you for asking" The Mayor looked at them " What brings you here this Morning?"
John and Bill just Smiled " We are here to apply for an adoption" Just before anyone could reply to that the receptionist came back "Sorry to interrupt" John and Bill turned to face her " There is a Judge available to go through your paperwork, he said he can do it now" Then she added " He will be out shortly to take you the meeting room" John and Bill answered " Thank you so much for that"
She then went back to her work. The Boys turned back to the Mayor and the Fire Chief " Sorry about that" they both just Shook their heads when the Mayor replied " It is fine, you said you were applying for an adoption" The Just Nodded " Yes, they are the most adorable twins you have ever seen in you life" Both with big smiles on their faces.
The Fire Chief and the Mayor just smiled at them. The Fire Chief replied " That is great, you two are the most remarkable young men I have ever met" Just then the Judge appeared and heard what the Fire Chief had said "Good Morning Gentlemen, I am Judge Oakwood" before he looked and the Mayor and the Fire Chief "Good Morning Mayor, Chief" they both greeted him before looking at John and Bill "Good Luck those Children will be lucky to have you"
John and Bill replied " Thank you Sirs, we will be the lucky ones" Just before they left with the Judge they said " We will also be over at city Hall soon to get the Paperwork sorted for the Octennial league as well so we may see you there" The Mayor and The fire Chief Just Nodded before they walked out.
Turning to follow the Judge " Thank you for seeing us today" Judge Oakwood just nodded " My Pleasure please follow me and we will get the Application Started" With that the Three of them walked towards a meeting room where they all took a seat.
When everyone was seated the the Judge Asked " Do you have the information from the Orphanage regarding the Child you would like to adopt?" Bill handed over the File " Here is their File Sir" The Judge looked at them before collecting the file and reading though it.
After awhile he Put the File on the table in front of him and said " Alright it seems there is no one to impede this adoption so all we need to do is fill in this form and have a look at your ability to provide a good and safe home for them"
John and Bill Smiled " That would be great thank you" The Judge handed over the Paperwork and Bill started to fill it in while John got all their document out and went through it with the Judge " This is a copy of our Paperwork including all the Business information you need and our addresses, as we have one Here and One in Cooke City"
About half an hour later Bill had Finished filling in the Paperwork and handed it back to the Judge. Judge Oakwood had finished going through all the Statements and was rather impressed, He had no doubt that the Children would be looked after.
He looked at the Boys and Smiled " I am going to approve this Adoption, It will take about two weeks to finalize everything but that is just to get all documents and certificates done" John and Bill with big smiled on their faces " Thank you Sir, that is amazing"
Judge Oakwood was happy seeing the look on the Boys faces " You are Most Welcome, Good Luck in the future" with that they all stood up shook hands and left the meeting room. John and Bill said Good bye to the receptionist and walked out the Court House
When they got to their car they just Embraced each other " I Love you" and they just stayed like that holding each other. Even the receptionist and Judge Oakwood who were watching them from inside could feel the love.
