Early in the morning, Jaylene hadn't yet gotten out of bed when Alisha's phone call came.

Because it's not advised to use mobile phones during pregnancy, Joseph had specially branched a line from the landline to the upstairs bedroom to make it convenient for Jaylene to talk on the phone while lying in bed with relatives and friends.

When Joseph moved the landline into the bedroom, Jaylene thought it was unnecessary, but as she lay in bed chatting with Alisha on the phone, she realized how wise Joseph's action had been.

Jaylene was terrified and hurriedly asked, "What happened? Alisha, who bullied you?"

"Tyson Thornton, that despicable man, bullied me last night..." Alisha had just finished speaking when she burst into tears over there.
