During work hours, Jaylene's mobile phone is usually set to vibrate. She generally doesn't answer non-urgent calls.

In the morning, she was finalizing the details of the intercity railway project with Ricky Lewis in his office, so she was unaware of any incoming phone calls.

Near the end of the workday, she returned to her office, opened the drawer, and took out her mobile phone only to discover that she had five missed calls, all from the same number: Joseph Thompson!

Although she had already deleted Joseph Thompson's name from her contact list, she still remembered his mobile number. So, even though the digits were unfamiliar, she knew these calls were from him.
