"Bring out the divorce agreement and I'll sign it right here in the car," Jaylene said straightforwardly, no longer in the mood to play guessing games with him.

Joseph Thompson furrowed his brow in displeasure and said, "When did I say we were going to talk about divorce? Are you deaf? I said I'm taking you to have roast chicken!"

Jaylene was at a loss for words. She was having trouble understanding Joseph now. He was dead set on getting a divorce, and she had agreed to it, but now he was pretending to be clueless.

Since he did not plan to discuss divorce tonight, and she hadn't found a place to rent yet, she decided to wait a couple more days before moving out.
