"You didn't leave?!"

Gussie's face sank upon seeing Nathan. She said in a very irritated tone.

"If you want me to leave, then why did you open the door? Don't say something stupid like you're going out to buy something." Nathan said with a wry smile as if he had seen through her.

Gussie felt like an innocent rabbit and Nathan was a big, bad wolf.

Gussie didn't know how to answer Nathan's question and paused.

Nathan gently put his arm around her slender waist.

"I've saved your life so many times, shouldn't you thank me for that?" Nathan was asking for her gratitude, pushing harder and harder.

"I'm..." Gussie was timid. She was confused when she was surrounded by that masculine scent.

Nathan wasn't going to let go of the opportunity that was so close at hand. Today was a great opportunity to take a step further with Gussie.
