Bab 378: Chapter 378 Apprenticing

Gussie thought it was over, but it wasn't. She was yelled at by Nathan.

"Are you stupid that you would fall into such an obvious trap?"

"I've never seen someone as stupid as you!"

"The next time something like this happens, I won't even bother to care about you."

Nathan said angrily, slapping her twice directly on the back of the head, causing her little head to lower.

Gussie was aggrieved but had no way to argue with him. It was true that she was the one confused, not even seeing the simple trap and being manipulated by both Fredrick and Flavia.

Gussie said, "Mr. Evans, I know I'm wrong. Don't scold..."

Nathan sighed and said, "That's true too. You're not smart. If I scold and hit you again, you'll probably become even less intelligent."

Gussie was unconvinced and thought, "I at least studied at a top university. Why should I be called unintelligent?"
