Bab 49: Truly stranded
"Hey my man, Man Tian, what's up" Bian said melodiously. Only to be greeted by a Man Tian with bags under his eyes.
"Oh, don't tell me you haven't been sleeping well" This was the second person close to Bian who had bags under his eyes.
"Bian, don't mind the eye bags, I'm great." Man Tian wasn't someone who complained about his problems to others.
"Actually, I called to ask how you've been, how's second god sanctuary treating you" Bian asked friendly.
"Fair enough, some ups and some downs" Man Tian felt relieved talking to Bian, even when they were in school, Bian was more mature than most kids.
"Hey Bian, I need some advice" Man Tian decided to get his opinion on the matter.
"Ask away" Bian still had some time on his hands.
Man Tian told him about everything, from the berserk sacred-blood beast soul to the baby wasp. Bian had always been reliable when it came to this kind of stuff.
"Okay, first off, don't sell the beast soul. It would be a humongous waste. Secondly don't worry about the money. I happen to have some extra cash on hand, I'll transfer some to you" Bian responded.
"Be very careful about the wasp, it sounds much stronger than a sacred-blood creature, even a berserk one." Bian said seriously.
Man Tian nodded seriously.
"Alright then, I'm on an important mission. Don't call me unless it's necessary." Bian said and hung up.
He transferred 500 million to Man Tian, he was feeling like a rich tycoon.
With nothing more to do he went through some packages he had received when graduating from the academy.
Recommendation letters, congratulatory cards, S-class license. "An S-class license?" It was from Bai Yishan on behalf of the saints hall.
Bian was dumbfounded. Who would have thought that he had an S-class license, he had hundred of A-class licenses though.
The spaceship only had a limited amount of geno arts and luckily for Bian, it had the S-class hyper geno art Tide.
Tide allowed one to move in the ocean as they would on land, ever since he started practicing the dongxuan sutra, he could enter a state where his cells breathe by themselves.
Now with Tide he could fight creatures underwater, without worry about suffocation thanks to dongxuan sutra.
He started his practice for Tide and focused on it till he arrived at galaxy dongying.
CRACK!
Bian heard a cracking sound in his sea of soul the angel had finished her evolution.

She was now a second sanctuary super pet but sadly she would need to be fed again to enter her combat mode.
He gave the black crystal to the minotaur, it ate it and a cocoon of light enveloped it.
Bian finally got to his destination and saw daphne in the harbor. The interior design was sophisticated, and obviously next generation.
He immediately went to meet the captain who to his surprise wasn't Ji Yanran.
"You must be Bian Manwei, I am captain Ji Houto." Captain Ji raised his arm for a handshake. He looked like a middle aged man, wore all white and had a stern expression on his face.
"Bian Manwei, here to assist in the crystallizer ruin." Bian introduced himself.
"Very good young man, to have the qualifications at your age. Here take this, it should help with your work." Captain Ji brought out a purple crystal.
The first time Bian took this crystal, he unlocked a gene lock for mental point targeting. Bian kept the crystal in his pocket.
"Thank you sir." With a salute, he went to his living room. Meeting Han Yan wouldn't be as easy as he thought.
The next day in the lobby, Bian was chatting with some other researchers when the cooks came in to deliver their food. With a sly wink, Han Yan signaled for him to follow.
"Gotta hit the john" Bian followed her to a blind spot in the surveillance area, she gave him the treading cloud geno art, and he gave her the purple crystal.
After telling her of its uses, she placed it on her forehead and it crumbled to dust.
"I'm gonna frequent the sanctuaries before the three months for travel are over." Han Yan said to him.
"Yeah me too, nothing ventured, nothing gained." Bian responded.
For the next couple of days he and the manticore hunted primitive fish until his primitive geno points were maxed out.

It turns out the silver barracuda was a rare occurrence and the crab even rarer. Bian spotted no mutant or sacred-blood creatures for three days.
He cut down a tree and carved the wood into different arrow pieces. He fixed an arrow on the floor and flew in that direction for one day, when he saw nothing but water, he flew back to the island.
Bian tightened another arrow on a different cardinal point and flew in another direction for one day, he saw nothing and came back.
"Third time's a charm" Bian summoned the dragonfly wings and flew in the third direction for one day. In the far distance, he saw another land.
After two more days of non-stop flight, he arrived at the island. The island was quite small and devoid of life, throughout his journey on the ocean, he saw no birds over in the sky.
There were plenty of islands scattered about coming from a specific direction. Bian flew over these islands for days on end. After a week, he arrived at the last and largest island.
"This might have been a shelter" Bian looked at the corroded walls and destroyed buildings, they looked untouched for unknown years. At the center of the destroyed shelter, Bian saw a busted teleporter. He continued his journey to the back of the island, an invisible dome was present here.
As soon as Bian walked through the dome, a pleasant aroma wafted into his nose.
Bian saw some vines growing fruits on the ground, after a bit of scavenging, he brought out three mango looking fruits.
"This shouldn't be harmful to humans right?" Bian bit into the first fruit, an unbelievably sweet juice flowed down his throat. His cells felt rejuvenated and his body full with Vitality and vigor.
Wasting no time, Bian quickly ran the dongxuan sutra, he completed a cycle and felt the increase in his Vitality and strength.
Bian had to wait till the next day before eating the second fruit, he ran the dongxuan sutra and felt even lighter than before. Some impurities oozed out of his body making him even lighter.
He jumped into the ever-present ocean to wash the dirt of his body. On the third day, Bian ate the last, biggest and most ripe fruit.
He felt it melt in his mouth like honey. Under the guidance of the dongxuan sutra the energy flowed through his body, strengthening his cells. His cells with a specific rhythm like waves against a dam.
For 12 hours Bian remain seated with his eyes closed. The invisible dome was filled with a misty fragrance that could drive any creature into a frenzy.
The dome eventually gave way and burst, the fragrance spreadung far and wide. At the same time, like a river corroding a rock. Bian's pulsating cells broke through their restrictions, he felt as light as a feather and released an invisible life force.
It was like an organ of his body, if any creature got within a hundred meters of Bian he could clearly see their lifespan. The radius of this invisible life span wasn't fixed, but depended on his strength.
Bian saw a burning red lifeforce approach from the ocean. It was a white crocodile that had perceived the scent he had released earlier.
The lightning rune surfaced in Bian's mind, time seemed to slow to a crawl. He wielded the black fanged snake dagger in a reverse grip, with a mean side step he dodged the crocodiles pounce. The emperical will was put into action as a mystical hum echoed at a low frequency.
Channeling Sparticle with all his might he seemed to vanish from the spot and phase through the crocodile.
A long gash was left on the neck of the crocodile, blood spurted out like a fountain. For the next couple of minutes, Bian used treading cloud to evade the crocodile while it got weaker and weaker due to its insane blood loss.
"Goodbye" Bian said, and dashed to the extremely weakened beast. A thin red line appeared on the crocodiles neck and its head fell off.

Bian summoned the beast soul of the jade death jaw beast, a giant pair of white scissors appeared in his hands. The edge of the scissors was serrated like the teeth of a crocodile.
Bian looked at the body of the crocodile. It was even smaller than a normal crocodile, he butchered it up and smoked the meat. Right now Bian wasn't feeling hungry at all.
He was still surrounded by the ocean, he could only go back to the first island if he wished to return to the alliance.
