Before he could answer, Lumma stepped forward timely. "Ruby, Mr. Hills is a busy man, so he wouldn't have the time to dine with us."

Lumma obviously didn't want to dine with Adam, yet she stated her reasons so grandly. Adam, who was about to decline Ruby's invitation, changed his mind instantly. "Actually, I'm not too busy today. If Lumma doesn't mind, let's have dinner together."

Could Lumma dare to refuse him after this?
