Adam furrowed his brows with impatience and quickly typed: [I can see Maria, but I don't want to see you.]

Adam's words were imbued with a strong sense of disgust towards Lumma, who couldn't understand why he loathed her and had no interest in finding out.

As long as Adam could come, Lumma thought it would be alright to let Maria receive proper medical care without any worries. Lumma replied: [Let's set a time. When you come, I'll avoid being present.]

Adam responded: [Tomorrow afternoon.]

Lumma: [Maria is in room 1003 of the third building of the inpatient department at Red Pine Hospital. Please do not mention our plans for divorce when you see her. Thank you very much!]

After sending the message, Lumma waited for a while but received no reply. She silently put her phone away and told Maria, "Grandma, Lucas agreed. He'll come to see you tomorrow afternoon."
