Bab 90: Ch. 90: Core Girls Set the Stage! (2)
"Mistress wants you guys to mess with time!" Shay told the girls, watching over them from the Well, with a cheerful tone.
Chelsea felt a shiver of excitement rush through the room. It was early afternoon, so a lot of the girls currently on break were the newer ones who'd been born after Mistress had left for Earth. As a result, the excitement in the room was even higher than it would otherwise be... Maybe. All of the girls absolutely adored Mistress, after all. Hearing a request from her would make any of the girls shiver with excitement, after all.
In order to calm the girls down, Chelsea jumped straight into Super Saiyan Silver from her base form, releasing more power with the transformation than she normally would. The pressure from her power-up made the girls' clothes flutter, and they all quieted down. Super Saiyan Silver was Chelsea's second highest form, after all. It was a divine level of Super Saiyan roughly equal to the level that Vegeta had found during the Tournament of Power, but with the divine aspect of 'Service' rather than 'Ego.' With Chelsea's base power already what it was, Chelsea could go toe to toe with the Grand Minister in this state endlessly, though she wouldn't be able to beat him without going up to her max level, which strained her body too much to be practical.
"What does Mistress want, Little Sis?" She asked once the other girls had calmed down a bit.
"Ooh, Big Sis! It's you watching! How are things?" Shay asked. Chelsea couldn't help but sigh. Chelsea was the oldest Core Girl. She'd been alone with Mistress for almost a year before any of the other Girls had been made, and back then, Hanna had been so caught up in her own rage and pain that it'd reflected itself into Chelsea's personality. She was a serious, no-nonsense person at her core because that was what Hanna had wanted.
But, like all Core Girls, Chelsea was absolutely loyal to Hanna. It'd softened Hanna a bit, when she'd realized that someone actually genuinely cared about her, no matter who she was or had been in her past life. As a result, the girls after Chelsea had been born a lot more carefree. Due to the difference in their personalities, all of the girls tended to call Chelsea 'Big Sis' as a sign of respect. She'd helped Mistress the most, after all.
Then, there was Shay.
By the time Chelsea had been born, the Well had been a thing for around 20 years. Hanna had been inside the Core for almost fifty, and she was starting to get gray hairs. Shay had only been born just a few weeks before Hanna had left the Core, from all of the research (70 years) that Hanna had been doing into the Dragon Balls, Spirit Techniques, and the assorted powers that she had mastered.
Creating Shay had been even more difficult for Hanna than teaching herself how to reincarnate after death. As a result, despite being the youngest Core Girl that Hanna had personally created, Shay's position among the Core Girls was roughly equal to Chelsea's in their hierarchy. Most of the girls called her 'Miss Shay,' and Chelsea was the only one that actually called her 'Little Sis.' Honestly, Shay was the target of even more envy than Chelsea was, since she was actually allowed to accompany Mistress outside of the Core.
"Aanyway, Mistress wants you guys to adjust the timelines so that Goku and the purple guy get to the battlefield at the same time!" Shay relayed. But her answer wasn't what she'd expected.
"Umm... Correct me if I'm wrong, Big Sis... but isn't that already going to be the case?" One of the older girls, Riley, asked, confused.
"Yup." Chelsea answered almost instantly. She'd been keeping close track of the timing, so she was pretty sure. Jeice would take a bit of time to convince Ginyu, probably making him a little late, but not by a huge margin.
"So... you don't have to do anything...?" Shay wondered, confused. Beside Chelsea, all of the other girls were a little confused as well. They weren't sure if this was something that Mistress had planned, or something that just happened due to luck. Chelsea was one hundred percent certain that it was the latter, though.
"Wait, what if Mistress is speaking in code!?" One of the younger girls interjected. A lot of the younger girls immediately began talking over each other in agreement, while the older ones weren't quite so sure. Hanna didn't do codes or half-truths with them. But this was useful for Chelsea, so she let them talk, knowing that they'd eventually meander into some brilliant conclusion that she'd never get to on her own. That was how Core Girls worked, after all. She wasn't disappointed.
"Well, if she was speaking in code, does she want Goku to end up getting there first, like in the canon?" One of the girls wondered, but the other girls pretty much immediately shot that down.
"When he got there in the canon, Gohan and Krillin both had lots of broken bones, and Vegeta'd been hit by Recoome's finisher. He had to use all of his Senzu beans, you know." The girls shared some of Hanna's memories leading up to the moment of their creation, though the exact amount differed from girl to girl. As a result, they knew about the canon in some pretty good details.
"Everyone got stronger from that, right? As it stands, only Vegeta's really hurt... I don't think he'll grow as much as he did before when Goku gives him the bean, though." Another girl thought aloud.
"Mistress was planning on unsealing a bit of her strength for the upcoming battle against Frieza, right? And Gohan needs to break his own seal..."
"Nappa's pretty weak too..." Another girl agreed.
"So, Mistress wants us to give her a reason to break her seal? Doesn't that mean that we need to have Ginyu get there first? Then beat them all to a pulp?"
"That sounds like something Mistress would want!"
"Always thinking ahead, Mistress!" All of the girls immediately realized that their conjecture was exactly what Hanna needed, and therefor was exactly what Mistress had expected of them. Chelsea and Shay knew better, though.
"Umm, big sis... is this okay?" Shay asked Chelsea.
Chelsea giggled a bit, "It's what Mistress needs, Little sis. Tell her that it was my suggestion."
"Umm... okay... But you know she's gonna clench her jaw like she does when she's annoyed." Shay told Chelsea hesitantly. If Chelsea said that it was okay, then it was fine in Shay's mind as well.
