Bab 96: Maw Seeds

The Princess decided to walk with Killian along the forest, looking for maw seeds. Killian held her hand gently while they walked. 

"My lady," Killian called her name gently, "Are you mad at me?" 

The Princess pressed her hand against him, "You are always thinking I will leave, are you not?" She replied bluntly. 

Killian cleared his throat, "I apologize. I have had too many things on my mind. However, it should not be my excuse to treat you poorly. Please forgive me." 

The Princess looked at him, "I am not mad at you…" She clarified. "I trust you, Killian. I wish you would trust me as well." 

Killian's eyes widened. Suddenly, he felt wrong for bringing her here. He already knew he was wrong. 

"My lady," 

The Princess looked at him carefully, anticipating what he wanted to say. 

Killian shook his head, "I trust you as well. I will be more honest with you. After all, we are each others' only well-wishers."
