Bab 129: Forgiven Or Not?

The vampire looked equally shocked as Bella. But Nadia only smiled as if she knew this was the truth from the start.

But just when Bella met her eyes to hear the insults and the infamous line of Nadia, "see, i have warned you, but you did not listen." Nadia only sighed and shook her head making Bella further aggrieved.

"Strangely.." she whispered, "whenever i thought that it would happen, i have imagined my heart shattering. But now that it has actually happened, all I feel is nothing. As if I have woken up from a bad dream. But the remnants of it did not look scary anymore." she sucked in a deep breath and let it go. 

The heaviness in her heart was there but she did not find it crushing her bones as she had imagined. Nadia walked closer and patted the girl. They both hugged each other leaving the job of questioning for Crispin. The vampire still could not believe that their lord was in the wrong.
