Bab 35: Meeting the Vampire

Duke Henry Valentia and Michael made their way down the crowded streets. Duke Henry adjusted his collar to fend off the wind. He took in the sights around him and could not help but to feel disheartened. This was a poorer part of the dutchy and close to the black market. Whoever had sent for them was not to be trifled with. He could not shake the feeling that this meeting was more than meets the eye. He turned to look at Michael, but his face gave nothing away. If he was ask nervous as Duke Henry was, he did not show it. 

"We are nearly there, sire," Michael spoke in a hushed tone. "We are to meet at that tea shop," he pointed to a more rundown building that looked abandoned. The sign was barely hanging on to its hinges and there was little light visible from the street. 

"Are you sure this is the place," he asked.
