Bab 110: Severely wounded and the Beasts Reaction, Disappearance

When his knights rushed to his side, they beheld a harrowing sight. The knight's once resplendent armor was now a mangled shell, stained with the evidence of his courageous struggle against the sea monster. Deep gashes marred his visage, and crimson rivulets meandered across his battered fore. His breath came in ragged gasps, showing the severity of his wounds. 

As they carefully tended to Elder Azure's injuries, the severity of his condition became starkly evident. His body bore the marks of the sea monster's relentless fury, with broken bones and lacerations painting a grim portrait of his valiant stand against the creature. 

The serpent moved closer, almost as if it knew he had won, and he was busy proclaiming his victory to them by letting them live longer.
