Bab 89: A bad choice of answer

"It is bad to eavesdrop on the private affairs of a married couple. Don't you know that?" Canillas asked the uninvited guest he found once he opened the window of the room where he and his wife were dwelling in the Powel Orphanage.

The guest was straddled by him as he fell to the ground after being hit by the suddenly opened window. Canillas then punched him hard on the face, causing the guest to let out a heavy groan in pain.

Squeezing the eavesdropper's neck but not to the point of suffocating that would kill him, Canillas reached for the dagger, whose sheath was strapped to his calf, and threw it across the dark backyard, which was naturally bathed by the moonlight. And soon, another sound of groaning and pain was heard.
