Maybe it's true that fate is playing games with me after all. A part of my brain is thinking that way while another part is warning me to shut that thought down completely.

But how can I dwell on the latter when I'm fact the man I question seems to be everywhere I go.

Why is he sitting at the breakfast table alone?Where are the rest of the inhabitants of this mansion?

I should have checked up on Cole before coming here. It would at least have saved me from the situation I'm in

Is it too late to turn back and pretend to go look for Cole? Use that as an excuse to get out of here?

Maybe by the time I'd be back he would be gone.

Well that's a very bad idea.

What if Cole left early in the morning. For all I know, he's the kind of person who doesn't let alcohol take him down.

He could drink on a weekday and still wake up early, strong and go to work like nothing ever happened.
