This kid looked so cold earlier.

How did Maria manage to tame her? Now she seems completely different.

And they're comfortably talking like they are best friends?

"David!" She lets out a broad smile as soon as she turns to see me standing at the door they clearly forgot to lock.

It seems like people these days have developed a habit of not locking the bedroom doors, especially when Maria is involved.

Because this is not the first time I'm walking into a conversation involving me.

I smile back at Amanda.

"I didn't get a chance to apologize to you. Was I cold to you too, earlier?" she asks.
