"I remember now." Peggy Lewis said sheepishly, "Don't worry, I won't get it wrong next time."
Seeing that it was getting late, Lyke Zhekova got up and said, "It's late; I should be heading home."
"Let me call a cab for you; don't drive," Peggy Lewis suggested, "I know you didn't drink much. Besides, you had a lot of tea here."
"But anyone who drinks and then drives can make people feel uneasy," Peggy Lewis added.
Hearing this, Lyke Zhekova didn't object but readily agreed, "Alright, I will leave my car here then and come back for it tomorrow morning."
Peggy Lewis was surprised that Lyke Zhekova agreed so quickly.
She thought Lyke Zhekova would say that the little alcohol she drank wouldn't affect her.
Plus, she had had tea and had rested for quite a while.
Any alcohol in her system should have already metabolized.
Yet, surprisingly, Lyke Zhekova agreed obediently.
Peggy Lewis found that Lyke Zhekova was someone who was willing to listen to others.
