"But it got better later on. As Morgan grew up, we celebrated festivals together. Valentine's Day, Spring Festival. With Morgan by my side, I never felt lonely again," said Cindy Clarke, smiling.
"But of all the Valentine's Days, this one is the warmest one for me," said Cindy, looking at the full moon. "All the elders treat me so well, like I'm part of their family."
"You are always part of the family," corrected Adrian Zhekova. "If Old Madam hears you say this, she'll be heartbroken."
Cindy finally came to her senses and faced Adrian: "Thank you."
She hugged Adrian: "It's so nice to have you all."
Adrian held her tighter in his arms: "From now on, not just on holidays but every day, you'll have us."
Maybe the moon is too round or maybe the night is just too warm.
Cindy wanted to be with Adrian, completely and truly.
Close to him, inseparable.
Cindy gathered her courage, tiptoed with some effort, and leaned close to Adrian's ear.
