Bab 313: Who angered the sis con

Amara's face got all twisted, resembling that of someone who had stepped in shit. Scarlet smirked proudly, resisting the urge to laugh in her face as she wondered what the woman thought was going to happen. 

In her mind, the beat to the song 'Can't touch this,' became loud, and she resisted the urge to say those words to Amara. 

But, for Amara to be chased away from the blue star permanently, her actions had to be much bigger than simply trespassing on the governor's residence. And to stop her from spinning a sob story that would people sympathizing with her, she had to be seen as the villain she truly was. 

Scarlet smiled and she looked up at Esong and said, "Don't frighten her too much. Perhaps we should first hear her out and know why she is here." 

She went on to reach her hand out and touch Amara's shoulder. Looking deep into her eyes, she asked the woman, "Why are you truly here?"
