"What's wrong? Why aren't you speaking?"

Xavierre took a deep breath, his gaze locked onto hers. "Seraphyne, I know it's hard for you. You've been unintentionally dragged into a mess that will put your time and safety at risk."

Seraphyne smiled lightly. She did not know what else to say, but she spoke her mind, "That's why you're here, Xavierre! When I'm blindly walking into the darkness of the unknown, you're here! You are my guide, and if so... could you guide me into the light?"

Xavierre felt stunned. "I... I'm sorry for dragging you into a world you didn't even know existed. My family, the Bloodmoon pack, we are not who you think we are."

Seraphyne now knew that her intuition was right when she noticed anomalies while fighting the rogues earlier. "What do you mean? Are you not ordinary?" She thought, "Perhaps not human at all?"
