Seraphyne sat in her dimly lit room, the only source of light coming from the flickering candle on her desk. The room was filled with an air of loneliness as she dialed Sara's number, her heart slowly beating without any worry.

The late hour heightened her senses, knowing that danger lurked in the darkness outside. But she felt extremely safe at the moment. The fight was very intense earlier, and she had almost exhausted all her spiritual power.

"Babit, I hope I can rest enough tonight."

"Mistress, will you really plan to avoid your husband?"

"I can't avoid him forever. But without his second personality's presence... I can't seem to have the courage to face him. I can't act in love with someone who doesn't have affection for me. That would be embarrassing for both of us."
