"I can't do that," Raymond cut in.

"You can't do what?"

"Everything. I can't break up with you and I won't stop coming to see you," he stated.

Cyprian was completely overwhelmed. Wasn't Raymond the one who had wanted to break up?

"What—"

As soon as she opened her mouth to speak, Raymond walked away from her and headed towards the entrance of the building.

"Where are you going?" Cyprian called after him.

"In," he answered.

"In where? This is not your house!" she yelled. With the way he seemed set on entering, she felt he had an ulterior motive to following her inside that building.

"I didn't say it was. I came to visit someone here," Raymond informed.

"Who?" Cyprian questioned, picking up her pace to match his quick footsteps. The two had gotten past the lobby and were now waiting for the elevator.
