"I told you this already. She will stay with me and if I have to adopt her to give her that status as a princess once again, I will gladly do so. The worst that can happen is that she lives as Elizabeth's twin!"

From where Shikera was, she could deduce from her father's agitated voice that he was angry. She held her breath and stayed quiet, wanting to hear the conclusion of the men's discussion.
