Schooling her face into a stoic expression, Shikera pulled open the door, prepared to snap at Hazel.
"I told you I will call you when—Cyprian?! What are you doing here?" she could not help but yell, seeing the person she least expected to be at the door.
"What stupid question are greeting me with? I bet you didn't even miss me for those two weeks we were apart," Cyprian mumbled dejectedly, like a kid whose mother forgot to pick him up from the kindergarten.
Even with a lot of questions at the tip of her tongue, Shikera pulled her friend in for a hug as she could feel her dejected mood.
"What are you saying, Rian? Of course, I missed you."
She opened the door wide enough for Cyprian to enter, before closing the door after her.
The both of them went upstairs to Shikera's room, where the whole room was tidy except the couch and the table. Cyprian, who was very exhausted was about to slump on the couch when Shikera pulled her up.
