"If you don't mind," Hyena slightly bowed, "I would like to give it a try."
Ansel laughed heartily, "You are straightforward, I like that, so I'll be straightforward with you."
"Fifty percent."
The little-known Mr. Faust casually said, "I'll take fifty percent of your revenue. In exchange, you can come to me with any problems on the backstage level."
What Hyena lacked was not muscle, nor resources, but a backing that could help him maintain his position.
This black market was ostensibly divided among four leaders, but in reality, it was nothing more than a backyard for the nobility and extraordinary beings to seize benefits.
Lately, I've been feeling physically exhausted and under a lot of mental pressure TT
There's a lot of content to write for the second volume, and I'm worried about repeating some of the issues from the first volume. Sometimes, I also think about sticking to the same formula as the first volume, but adding a twist, like focusing on the daily life of puppy or making Venna's character a bit more stereotypical, just to attract more readers.
But as an author, especially one who has received support and achieved a bit of success, I believe I should strive to create fresh and better stories.
After all, before being an author, I'm a reader myself, so I understand how much people dislike repetitive and formulaic content. That's why I try my best to ensure that each daily update is meaningful, driving the plot forward and developing the characters.
In this volume, the focus will shift more towards Ansel, and as the story involves him, it won't be as simple as just training puppy like in the first volume. There will be more characters and more development. I think every day about how to make these plotlines interesting and avoid abandoning the characters from the previous volume once their story is written.
As a newbie, I'm now experiencing the pressure that authors often mention during updates, not in terms of creativity, but psychologically.......
Regarding the plot being somewhat lengthy, complex, or even dull, I can assure you that this volume will be no less exciting than the first. I have detailed plans for the significance of Revenna and Ansel to each other, their thoughts, and the development and transformation of the characters.
Although Venna is still quite stubborn and unlikable at the moment, everyone will come to love her, just like they love puppy xD Her first significant change in attitude towards Ansel is coming soon.
In conclusion, my goal is to write stories that become more captivating with each volume. Perhaps this unrealistic ambition may exceed my abilities, leading to the downfall of my efforts so far. However, I believe it's better than treating it like a mundane job, filling it with monotonous content and repetitive storytelling, ultimately resulting in mediocrity and meaninglessness. I want it to be more meaningful.
Lastly, I want to thank all of you for patiently listening to my ramblings, keke...
