Bab 113: The last message

Several days have passed...

Emma has returned to Charlie's mansion, but her condition remains weak. She refuses to use medical equipment, wanting to experience normalcy in her final days.

Angelica resigned, hoping for a miracle but fears her mother's critical condition. Charlie hires a doctor and nurse to stay at the mansion.

This morning, Angelica prepares breakfast with Renee while Charlie meets Emma on the side terrace, enjoying the snowy scenery.

"Charlie..." Emma greets him warmly.

Charlie, in a gray knitted sweater and black jacket, smiles thinly. "The air is too cold," he says, taking a seat.

"Yes... But very comfortable."

"Do you want tea or..."

"I don't want anything..." Emma shakes her head. "I've lost my appetite for everything, but I still have one thing I want."

Charlie is silent, observing Emma, pale and thin in a red outfit with a gray scarf and a warm-looking head covering.
