Bab 242: Sort Him Out

I held Malia's hand as I guided her through the restaurant. Dad had booked out the restaurant just for us meaning we had the entire floor of the Michelin star restaurant reserved. I could tell Malia was nervous, she always got extremely nervous when we had a serious dinner with my parents. 

Not that I was any less scared. I had no idea what was going through their minds last night since it was obvious they had held back on me. Dad had kept quiet most of the conversation and I could not tell if he was angry, appalled or disappointed with me. Pa was still too busy mourning my hair for me to even decipher how he felt so hopefully I would get less tears today. 

"Malia, you look beautiful," Pa beamed as he stood up from his chair and rushed to hug her followed by Dad who showered her with compliments too. She was always beautiful, I did not think there was a time she was not.
