I climbed down the jet's stairs with a sigh that was both mixed with stress and exhaustion. I felt highly irrational and stupid for sending Vasilisa away to Tokyo without me but business could wait for just a few days. There was no point in stressing about making another million when my personal life was in shambles and I was often the type to not work well when my mind was elsewhere. 

In order for me to be a good CEO and to uphold the Coleman values high, I had to ensure that my number one Coleman, my Demyan, was happy and by the way he looked at me yesterday at the stairs lived in my mind rent free. 

I was not even sure why I did what I did but it made my stomach twist each time I thought about it. There was no possible way I could get Demyan back without me changing who I was and I did. He had made a lot of valid points within the past two days and I felt like a monster for wanting to throw his relationship with Malia in his face.
