Bab 248: Party Growth & Realization

Fifteen rat husks littered the floor. 

A small armory had been dumped onto the cold ground. 

The goblin's haggard pants were the only sounds left at the mine's dead end…

Further back, four figures stood still. Even their lungs had stalled out. It took them a moment just to breathe, let alone form words. 

Sabina stood a step in front of the others. Her arms flopped down to her side, unable to hold them up in deterrence any longer. 

It was then that Gerrart booked it past the cheetahkin with worry dripping from his sad frown. 

"Master Rizz! Hold on," the Albino Wolfkin hollered mid-dash. "Don't let go. Hold to your will to live–"

"Of course I'm alive, fuck-face!" 

Rizz reflexively snapped back at his overly concerned apprentice, fighting the cough that welled up in his throat. "I'm not going anywhere. Not till you heal me up nicely…"

"Y-yes! Right, I'll do everything I can."
