Bab 196: Getting Down to Business

No one replied, not for a few seconds. 

Folko stared at the short and cocky goblin in bafflement. His smile was gone. Only trembling lips remained while his brain was rebooted. 

Under the goblin's gaze, the wolfkin man took a shaky step backward. His red eyes stared back at the goblin. He wasn't sure why, but the unknown yet dauntless customer felt far larger all of a sudden. 

Th-Thud!

"If you're a hunter, then you must take me!" the rhinokin smashed the floorboards under his heavy, flat feet. 

"With my strength, you will catch far stronger prey. I am worth more because I have more value! Is my size not enough to convince you? Are you blind?" 

For the first time, Rizz took a peek at the brawny rhinokin. "Fine. Tell me your name, your old profession, and your goal in life. Go." 

"I'm Horthal, champion of the rhinokin-" 

"A champion wouldn't be behind bars."
