"Our slaves come from a variety of sources. Many come in and out with the passing caravans, given our trade-in deals. Other times, specimens are acquired locally, either due to defaulting on our offered loans or through loaning so many years of service in a self-serve loan. 

"This is growing more and more common among the local tribes. It allows the tribe or one's family to receive steady payments in exchange for someone fulfilling their contract's time limit." 

Rizz took all that in with a grain of salt.
