Bab 546: The old man shakes the world

The old Chief could see nothing in the darkness and yet his years of life experience told him that the darkness held something beyond the comprehension of men. 

He looked around for some time but he still found nothing. He remained calm throughout the entire incident. 

He was too old to panic and he knew it. 

He slowly closed his window and sat back on his bed. 

He stayed there with his brows furrowed. 

He could not see through the danger and yet he knew about its existence. 

He was sure his people were in danger but he did not know what it was. 

This was when he suddenly remembered something. 

The village was located next to a small swamp and the night was filled with the croaking of frogs and the cries of many other creatures.
