Devil Nemesis.

The title sounded pretentious and convoluted to many but most people still wanted this title for themselves.

On Rune, the Sea Martial sect introduced a system where titles could be given to outstanding individuals. Only the sect higher-ups could give out these titles and over the years, very few titles had been given out showing how rare and valuable they were. These titles were symbols of power and status in the Sea Martial sect and Rune. On Rune, having a title was akin to being granted a noble title that future descendants could even inherit.

People and families led by someone with a title did not have to pay taxes and some laws that governed Rune did not apply to them. This was the closest anyone could get to being above the law.

Titled individuals could even attend the Martial Meeting held once every fifty years. This was a meeting of the Martial Protectors of the sect.
