All the ten people that stood before Whiro and the wolves were the most powerful people of the Eastern continent. At least those that had stayed behind.

These people were famous the continent over.

They each had legends about them. This legend turned them into symbols of worship on the continent. With these people coming forward, the masses felt reassured of their continued survival. The countless demonic beasts seemed to be a joke now that figures such as the Wind Monarch and the Devil Monarch had come forward.

Most humans saw demonic beasts as eternal villains. To most humans, villains are destined to lose.

Whiro looked at these humans and shook his head.
