Bab 139: The Heirs(II)

The smile on Orion's face seemed to only annoy Eli more and more as time passed but as usual, he didn't let his emotions get the best of him as he calmly answered.

"I don't think it takes a genius to guess what I was doing but alas."

"I'm a Time Sovereign, would it not be weird if I didn't spend my entire time there?" Said Eli in an innocent tone.

"Oh, is that so? If that's the case, why do all the records I've read about Empyreans mention that sovereigns aren't able to access such places ? From what I know, only Overlords can do so? Are the records wrong, Eli?" Calmly asked Orion, his voice just as innocent as Eli's.

Eli steeled his jaw, unable to understand why Orion was pressing him for his secrets. Just when he was about to speak, Orion chuckled.

"Woah, there pal! Let's put this subject behind us, lest you do something stupid, alright? It'd be a shame for such a bright star to be snuffed out before its rays could illuminate the world, no?"
